Reflections of Gauguin

Documentary film 72 min

Reflections of Gauguin is an investigative, character-driven documentary directed by Anssi Rimpelä and Heidi Richert, currently filming across seven European countries: Finland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Monaco, and France.

The film is produced by Johanna Poikela, with Salla Kozma of Pig & Horse Productions serving as Executive Producer. International sales are handled by Norse Key Distribution, led by Maria Kivinen.

At the heart of the film is a decades-long search for truth surrounding a mysterious painting bearing the signature “P. Gauguin.” The work has shaped the life of Italian philanthropist Stefano Canepa for nearly twenty years. While scientific analysis suggests that the pigments and techniques align with Gauguin’s era, unresolved gaps in provenance have kept the painting outside the official Catalogue Raisonné.

Reflections of Gauguin unfolds as a cinematic thriller grounded in real-world events, where crime, art, and philosophy intersect. More than a film about authentication, it explores corruption, power, and the very human stakes behind the pursuit of truth.

REALITY | 10 x 42 min

What happens when three couples invite each other over for dinner — and are given permission to evaluate one another’s relationship? Audit My Relationship is a bold and revealing reality format where, in each episode, three couples who’ve never met take turns hosting an intimate dinner at home.

Over the course of the meal, they open up about the key areas of their relationship: communication, jealousy, housework, sex, and the future. The guest couples listen, ask probing questions — and secretly score the host couple in five categories. With sharp storytelling, dry narration, and raw emotional moments, the show delivers a deeply relatable and bingeable viewing experience. Relationships may take many forms — but in this show, they’re all up for review.
